Worthing - West Tarring

West Tarring is a small area that encompasses an area north of the railway line and south of the A2031 there are only three pubs in the area, but two of them are Good Beer Guide listed - and both of those are within a short walk of each other (less than 5 minutes). Both are highly recommended. West Tarring is easily accessible by public transport (West Worthing railway station and local busses).

Other notable features in West Tarring are the Bishop's Palace and the fig trees planted for Thomas A'Becket when Arch Bishop. Tarring High Street also has some very old houses including the Partridge Restaurant - which is popular but a little more expensive than the food to be had the pubs in the High Street.

Worthing (West Tarring) pubs:

George & Dragon *** (Enterprise Inns)
Thomas A'Becket * (Fullers/Gales)
Vine *** (Badger (Hall & Woodhouse))

Worthing (West Tarring/Broadwater) real ale off-licence
