A lively community pub, formerly the Fletcher Arms (named after the Jacobean playwright – John Fletcher 1579 – 1625). The pub was spruced up in 2006. It has two bars, and a large function room. It has a large family garden at the rear. Bar billiards is played. Friday night is karaoke night. Occasional live music. Large TV screen on the wall. The menu is extensive and mostly sourced from local suppliers. Food served noon to 9pm Monday to Saturday, and noon to 4pm Sunday, when a Sunday roast is available.

Although there are four handpump two are for the same beer and two appear to have been unused for sometime.
