The main building of this superb pub was built in the 16th century. The single bar seves four comfortable rooms on two levels. There is a log fire in the lower lounge and a cosy alcove in the bar area. There are oak beamed ceilings and brass ornaments throughout. A quiz night is held every Thursday evening and live music on the last Friday of each month. There is a large drinking area outside, next to a 14th century bridge (and its replacement) that spans the River Arun.
