Greene King IPA, Abbot Ale
This busy town centre pub, that straddles Warwick Street and Ann Street, opened as a hotel in the 1890’s. At one time there used to be a brewery on site. Between 1995 and 1998 the pub was known as the Hogshead Cask Ale Emporium. Inside it has comfy sofas and high stools, and a wooden shelf behind the bar. A black sheet hangs from the ceiling. Pool can be played, as well as live sport being watched. Karaoke and disco nights are 'a feature'.
