Green King IPA
Often referred to as the 'Thieves Kitchen' this former bank is a large multi-roomed busy town-centre pub in pedestrian precinct, redecorated in 2003. Live music and bouncers at the weekend. A complete overhaul in 2004 has changed the look and feel of the Vintners. New chairs and colour scheme (brighter) as well as new menu haven't compensated for the lake of a decent pint. Recently installed "frozen" keg fonts "add" to the atmosphere.
OS Ref: TQ150026
How to find: In the pedestrians area of Warwick Street - centre of town.
