The Swan is a smart pub come restaurant that was the Arundel Brewery's first house, opening in 1993 after a smart and stylish refurbishment. It is now leased out to Gales and has been refurbished again (March 2004). The pub part is unchanged (mostly) but the "stuffier" resturant has been opened up and is more informal. The framed picture of swan in the bar is the original pub sign. Open for breakfast lunch and dinner. The menu is varried and reasonablly priced. Try the Arundel Lunch. The guest beers tend to be regional favourites (Spitfire and Pedigree recently).
How to find: Down from the Red Lion on the corner of River Road.
