Large road-side pub with a public/games bar and a comfortable saloon bar. There is a large separate restaurant which doubles up as a function room. Food is served Monday to Saturday lunchtimes and evenings until 8.45. Carvery available Sunday lunchtime. Monday night is 'curry & pint' night. Quiz night on Thursday and music night on Saturday. There is also a garden and children are welcomed. The sign at the side of the pub often displays a humorous name (in the Fawlty Towers vein) for the pub (last time it was "AL THE COY ROACH").
