"The pub with an atmosphere as lively as the bird", is how the Partridge Green FC describes this corner two bar pub. Of the two bars the village bar and resturant (closed on the last visit) is the smaller. The cavernous main bar has a counter with three handpumps - but all maynot be in use. The bar has barn-type beams, a collection of empty wine bottles and dart board, pool table and TV. Obviously a popular local's pub. There is a large beer garden to the rear. "Nice pub."
