A smaller than normal Wetherspoons pub situated in the central shopping area. The name comes from an old inn which stood nearby. There are two main areas one large open plan bar and a smaller extended seating area off to the left. There is a plasma screen and a paved garden to the rear. Normal Wetherspoons promotions and beer festivals held.
How to find: A five minute walk east of the station, close to the pedestrianised area and the Crown.
