This large locals pub is close to the town centre. Kemp Town Brewery stained glass windows date from when the brewery owned the pub. Harry Chapman’s old ‘Tower Brewery’, closed in 1926, still stands at the rear, but has been converted into flats. There is a games room at the back of the pub with a pool table, pin ball and gaming machines. The back bar has lawn green bowls memorabilia and bowls pictures on the walls. TV screen in both bars.
