The Crown recently re-opened and has been totally refurbished. The Crown is a comfortable and friendly town-centre listed tavern with a keen landlord. There is one long and comfortable bar with quieter area to the rear. Food is served and the guest ales are constantly rotating. A micro brewery is promised in the future.
How to find: At the western end of the pedestrianised High Street.
