Greene King IPA, Abbott; Guest Beers
Large roadside thirteenth century listed inn, with two bars and a separate non-smoking restaurant in an extension that was re-built after a fire in 1999. Recently taken over by new licensees (October 2004) this Enterprise Inns partially tied house is allowed one guest ale. The landlords is keen on the variety of ales available locally and tries to take his guest ales from Arundel Brewery, King & Co, Harveys, Hepworths, Gales and the like. The pub is situated on top of a natural spring which runs through our cellar helping to keep it at a steady 10 - 11 degrees. There is a large car park and garden with a children's play area. Food is served every day (12:00 - 14:00 & 18:30 - 21:30 and on Sunday between 12:00 - 14:30 and 18:30 - 21:00). All the food, (with very few exceptions), is made on the premises. With fresh fish and meat dishes sourced from local suppliers.
