Suburban local in traditional "Kemp Town House" design, large public (games) and smaller saloon bar. A popular and friendly pub. Plenty to attract pub games enthusiasts. Food served lunches (but not Monday) and evenings (Wednesday - Saturday). The landlord is very keen on his beer and hopes to take the selection forward.
The Crabtree was runner-up in the Pub of the Year competition for Arun and Adur in 2007 and 2008.
