Parts of this high street pub can be dated back over 500 years. The front of the building is 18th century. This pub is unique in that there is a snooker/billiards table in one of the bars along with a dart board & big screen TV. There is a split level bar on the other side with prints of old Steyning on the walls. There are two other smaller rooms where you can sit for a quiet drink. Outside there are two separate areas for drinking, one for smokers and one for non-smokers. Homemade food is served daily (except Sunday evening), with a breakfast menu from 10am.
