Peviously the Shipton Hotel and then Strollers this large pub on multiple levels was converted in 2000. There is a small restaurant area and two function rooms. Frequent musical events (jazz and blues) and Beer Festivals. Up to eight real ales are usually available in oversize lined glasses. Large rear garden. Food served lunches, early evenings and all day Sunday. On the market for a few years this was sold to Scottish Courage in early 2006.
