Youngs Bitter; Guest Beers
A delightful and elegant country pub, that has a deserved reputation for its food but it's also the kind of place where locals can just pop in for a pint. The main room has an island bar and has several charming and intimate areas with an eclectic choice of furniture. Bar food (at the higher end of pub prices) may include tapas, fish stew, pheasant or pasta with scallops and basil. There is a pleasant terrace and an old monk's chair just inside the entrance. There is a separate restaurant and children over five are welcome by arrangement. 5 Star Accommodation.
