A large and fine historic pub with a 'nautical' flavour to the décor. Excellent views over the river Arun and the foot bridge. An extensive menu features heavily in the large saloon, but a decent locals' bar remains, there is also a "snug" just off the main saloon. There is a large non smoking conservatory and plenty of outside seating. Food served lunches and evenings. No admittance after 10 on Friday and Saturday night. There are plenty of lize music nigths and thursday is 'Jazz' night. Ensuite accommodation is available.
