A 1950’s roadhouse style pub built in the traditional Charrington style. Following a refurbishment in 2010, it reverted back to the Joyful Whippet from Abbott of Sompting. It has one large bar, which can be divided into two for functions by sliding a partition over. Darts & pool are played here. TV sports are shown. Child friendly garden.

Was called The Joyfull Whippet, renamed The Abbott of Sompting for a short time, now reverted back to the Joyfull Whippet.
