Patching is situated just a few miles outside of Worthing on the old Worthing / Arundel Road. Now by-passed by the A27 dual carridge way, Patching can be accessed from Worthing at the Clapham roundabout (junction of A2700 / A280) or coming from Arundel (about 5 miles) there is a turning sign posted "Patching Only". Both pubs are visable from the A27.
Hammerpot is accessable from the A27 a mile or so from Patching (but only east bound if driving.
