The following two files are offered to you to explore with. Please note we cannot be held responsible for any mistakes that are in the files - even though they have been tested. We hope you enjoy them - and remember to check for updates.
"Google Earth [
] combines the power of Google Search with satellite imagery, maps, terrain and 3D buildings to put the world's geographic information at your fingertips." The file includes:
The Sussex Branch areas (so you can see where we cover)
The areas of the Arun and Adur Branch
All the pubs in the Arun and Adur branch area
All Sussex Brewers
and a growing collection of breweries that I can find in the rest of the UK.
The locations here are far more accurate than using the post code in StreetMap (as we have done in the guide) as each pub has been individually "spotted" in Google Earth using our extensive knowledge of the area.
You can download the KML (right mouse click and "Save Target As ...") file.
The following POI (points of interest file) has been collected using the data from Google Earth and editing the file so it fits a Garmin POI Uploader file. Thus the Selden Arms (Worthing) is recognised by the coordinates -0.366119096,50.81503312. Note should you wish to test these coordinates in StreetMap they need to be reveresed (50.81503312,-0.366119096).
The file is under development and comes with no warrenties. It has only been tested on a Garmin [
] SatNav and you will need to have the Garmin POI Uploader [
] to add the POIs.
Get the file here zipped file (5k) or CSV (8k) and BMP (2k) files. For all these files right mouse click and "Save Target As ...".
